Program Learning Outcomes
Program Learning Outcomes detail the knowledge, skills and abilities that you as a student will demonstrate upon successful completion of your program.
Engineering and Computer Science
1. Computer science students apply appropriate logic, tools and processes to write software programs that solve given problems. As appropriate, they can use diagrams to represent different points in the problem solving process.
2. Engineering students apply appropriate analytical techniques and computational tools to solve engineering problems, or explain why they cannot be solved with the tools provided. They make extensive use of properly labeled diagrams to represent the system being analyzed.
3. Students studying engineering or computer science test their solutions to verify that they effectively solve the problem and identify situations in which the solution will not work. They also document their solutions and are able to explain their work from different perspectives.
