B.A.S. Application Development

We are now accepting applications for fall 2019, please apply here.

North’s new evening Application Development Bachelor of Applied Science (AD B.A.S.) began fall quarter 2014. You can be a part of this exciting, high demand field! Classes are small within a cohort setting with lots of opportunity for individual attention.

The AD B.A.S. provides an opportunity for you — who may already have an IT-related associate degree or who may want to focus on computer programming and software/application development — to earn a Bachelor’s Degree of Applied Science by leveraging the strong IT-related programs at North, Central and South Seattle Colleges.

When compared to traditional bachelor’s programs, bachelor of applied science degrees more heavily incorporate hands-on learning, focused on a particular industry or discipline. Added bonuses are emphasis on internship opportunities, credit for prior learning and workplace experience. You can also complete the degree program in six quarters, and there are no required summer classes.

Applications are currently being accepted for fall 2019.
