Nature around NSC

North Seattle College is located on scenic wetlands that employees, students and our community take pride in nourishing and protecting. Our campus incorporates over 11 acres of environmentally sensitive wetlands, home to a variety of Pacific Northwest birds, amphibians and plants. Limited foot trails exist within the wetland, that visitors are welcome to walk along.

Students can tour the wetlands, or enjoy a peaceful walk through campus under the lush trees and, shrubs and flowers.

A community P-Patch is located at the north end of campus, and is maintained by student gardeners for the benefit of local food banks. The campus is nestled in a neighborhood just minutes from downtown Seattle and local malls.
