North’s education in sociology leads to:

     • transfer to a 4-year school.

     • with a BA, careers in social service, community development or fundraising, corrections, business, real estate, personnel, sales, college admission or alumni relations, family planning, rehabilitation counseling, hospital admissions, insurance, publishing, journalism, public relations, government and teaching (with additional certification).

     • preparation for graduate work in sociology in order to become a professor, research analyst in business or government, human resource manager, gerontologist, statistician, urban planner, community developer, criminologist, demographer, counselor or social service program director.
