Philosophy is the pursuit of wisdom and inquiry into the meaning of knowledge, ethics, values, language and reality through study of the writings of great philosophical thinkers.

Philosophy includes a range of fields, including logic, ethics, bioethics, metaphysics, epistemology, history of philosophy, political philosophy and aesthetics, as well as philosophy of science, and the philosophy of language, law and religion.
