Beginning September 20, the NSC bookstore will be open for in-store services from 10 am to 2 pm the following weeks: 9/20-9/25, 9/27-10/2, and 10/4-10/8.

After October 8, the bookstore will only be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10 am to 2 pm until November 1. If you cannot come into our store during these times, please contact us at (206) 934-4678 or, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Counseling services are available during the summer quarter for enrolled students. There are no counselors on staff during quarter breaks. The IT Help Desk is the first point of contact for students needing assistance with technology. Services include support for classroom and lab technology, email services, WiFi, computer software and support.

The Library and Student Media Center (SMC) are available by email, phone, Zoom, chat, and limited "curbside" service hours.  Connect with us.

The Library is temporarily located on the first floor in the south end of the College Center building. Entry is on the western wall, then turn right and head south down the hallway.

During fall quarter from Sept.27 - Nov. 1, the Library will be available on Tues., Wed., and Thurs. from 10 am to 2 pm for drop off/pick up.

Seattle Promise Retention Specialists are happy to meet with students in-person (Tuesday/Wednesday 10 – 2pm) and remotely via Zoom or phone by appointment. Individual appointments can be scheduled with Retention Specialists directly; contact information for Retention Specialists is available here.

The Student Media Center (SMC) is available by email, phone, and Zoom to assist all North students with media production assistance and equipment lending services in fall quarter.

Media production assistance: We assist students remotely with presentations, media software access, and basic recording.

Equipment services: Students can request media equipment such as cameras, tripods, and lenses through the SMC online form and pick it up at the Library during open hours.

The Workforce Education Office can help you enter or reenter the workforce through career training, financial aid assistance, job placement assistance, and academic planning.

Starting October 12, Workforce Education will be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 am - 2 pm, with limited staffing and by appointment only. If you would like an appointment, don't hesitate to get in touch with your funding specialist. You can find their contact information at:

Workforce Education also continues to operate remotely. We are happy to answer your questions by phone and email, and funding specialists can make appointments with you by Zoom.

Please note: FERPA requires North Seattle College to verify a student's identity if we are required to access a student's account to provide information. We can then answer questions regarding admissions, registration, and financial aid upon identity verification.
