Tuition and Fee Payments
Students who are awarded grants, tuition waivers, loans or scholarships will have their tuition and fees automatically paid the week before the quarter begins. Any remaining eligible funds after tuition and fees have been paid will be disbursed through BankMobile, Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc.
Financial aid awards are adjusted to your enrollment level the first week of the quarter. If your award(s) are not sufficient to cover your total tuition and fee charges, you will be responsible for the remaining balance. The balance must be paid by the first day of the quarter or you may be dropped from your classes.
If you have registered for classes and decide not to attend, you must formally withdraw by the end of the first week of the quarter or you will be billed for the tuition costs paid.
Financial Aid Disbursements
Seattle Colleges delivers your refund with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. Detailed disbursement information, including helpful videos, can be found at BankMobile: How It Works.
Starting in June 2026, Seattle Colleges students must have a current cell phone number and mailing address listed in ctcLink to receive a refund from the college.
Update your information in ctcLink as soon as possible to ensure a timely refund. We encourage you to take this step even if you aren’t expecting a financial aid refund. Workforce Education grants, scholarships, Emergency Assistance, and overpayment refunds use BankMobile disbursements.
To update your contact information, log into ctcLink and select the “Profile” tile. Confirm or add your cell phone number, email address, and mailing address. Be sure to select “Mobile” from the Phone Type drop-down menu when inputting your cell phone number. A video tutorial is available in the ctcLink Reference Center. If you need assistance with ctcLink, visit the ctcLink Help Resources page.
If you don’t have a cell phone or need help updating your information, visit the financial aid office or make an appointment with a Funding Navigator.
