Advising Resources

Career Training students benefit from working with academic advisors and program coordinators to plan their education at North Seattle College. You are encouraged to make use of their expertise in conjunction with online tools and North's Career Services.

Academic advisors assist you with course scheduling, unofficial evaluations of incoming credits, understanding degree/certificate programs and requirements. North advisors are specially trained to aid students in specific program areas. Find your advisor for both Workforce Education and non-Workforce Education here. Note: Workforce Education students should meet with Megan Mihara.

Program coordinators approve course substitutions and credit for work experience and provide industry information and advice.

Career Services: North makes use of WorkSource resources to provide career services to students. WorkSource Affiliate North Seattle is located in the Opportunity Center for Employment and Education (OCE&E) building, on the south side of the campus.
