The Belonging and Excellence in STEM (BE-STEM) Program is a student program aimed at bolstering the enrollment, retention and degree completion of students enrolled in STEM programs at North Seattle College. While we support and welcome all students, we have a targeted focus on students from demographics that are underrepresented in the STEM workforce. Including those who are students of color (BIPOC), marginalized genders, low-income, and/or first generation.
