How to Report Different Concerns About Students
Creating and sustaining a safe, inclusive environment requires the entire campus community’s help and commitment. The information below offers a guide of where and how to report concerns.
What it might look like
- Imminent risk of harm to oneself or others
- Acute health condition needing immediate care
What to do
- Call 911
- Alert NSC Safety and Security at 206-934-3636
- Alert supervisor
- Submit a CARE report
What it might look like:
- Heated argument between students
- Abuse of substances
- Academic work containing violent or threatening content not part of assignment
- Behaviors that make other students uncomfortable
What to do:

- A break with reality
- Contemplation of suicide
