The 2023-2024 academic year's MLTV event will be held on June 5th from 10am-2pm.

10-2pm | Library 1st floor hallway | Poster Presentations Check out the annual showcase of student work and presentations across the disciplines. |
10-11am | LB1108 | Creative Writing Readings Come listen to students from this quarter’s three creative writing classes read their original poetry and prose. |
11-2pm | Outside the southwest corner of the library | Vandalz Taqueria Food Truck Enjoy some tacos and with your college community. Outside seating will be available by the College Way entrance to the 1sy floor of the library. |
11-12 pm | Library Auditorium | James Baldwin Video Screening Watch curated documentary video footage of author and activist James Baldwin. |
12-1pm | Library Auditorium | James Baldwin Videos and Panel Discussion Listen to panel presentation about the life and work of James Baldwin featuring English Faculty Laura McCracken and Ben Wirth, EDIC Director, Cooper Sealey, Project Baldwin Director Julius Lloyd, and a Project Baldwin student participant. |
1-1:45pm | RFWC 0827D | Line Dancing Class Learn how to line dance at this fun instructional class taught by Trish Root! |
1-2pm | LB1108 | First Year Experience Course: Teaching Faculty Reflections At North, Human Development Course 101 (HDC 101) - Orientation to College is identified as our First Year Experience (FYE) course. Several HDC faculty were hired to teach this course in the Winter and Spring quarters. Join us to learn how the Counseling department upscaled the FYE course. Our MTLV highlight will be hearing directly from a panel of HDC faculty discussing experiences teaching the course for the first time. HDC faculty panelists are: Caroline Conley, Jillian Fischer, Renee Almatierra, and Emiko Minatoya-Shields. |
3-6 pm | NSC Art Gallery Exhibition IB1430 | 2023-2024 NSC Juried Art Exhibition Drop by the North Seattle College Art Gallery to see student art. |
