Promotion opportunities
Ads	Communications can assist with digital/social media ads if a departmental budget is available.
Board report	*Potential opportunity to include update in the monthly report to the Seattle Colleges Board of Trustees, pending approval.
Campus meetings	*Potential opportunity to make announcement during campus meetings, pending approval.
Canvas bulletin to students	Events and announcements can be included in Monday Canvas bulletin.
Email announcements	All student or all employee emails can be sent through communications, or through other approved departments.
In the News	If your department or program is in the news, let us know. We'll add a link to the "In the News" site.
Foundation Board report	*Potential opportunity to include news in Foundation Board report, pending approval.
News stories	Post a story or event on the NSC News Center website.
Mailings	Communications can assist with mass mailings if a departmental budget is available.
Press releases	Communications can assist with sharing news or announcements with the media.
Quarterly newsletter	Share news or announcements in the monthly employee newsletters (North News Briefs).
SBCTC News Links	If your department or program is in the news, let us know. We'll share the link with SBCTC for their News Links email.
Signs and posters	Promote your event with signs and posters. We recommend Canva for graphic design templates.
Social media	Submit an announcement to the official NSC social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Street Reader Boards	Submit a request to post a message on the digital boards at the north and south corners of campus.
Website audience pages	Share a news story on the Students, Employees, or Community web pages.
Website posters or tiles	Request to add a temporary announcement to the website.
Website slider	Request to add a temporary message to the sliders on the website homepage.
