BE-STEM, formally known as the Puget Sound LSAMP Alliance, is a program whose purpose is to strengthen the preparation, representation and success of historically underrepresented* students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) academic pathways. 

Students participating in our program can expect to engage in STEM experiential learning, professional development, and scholarly community centered on building self-confidence and STEM identities. They will explore STEM careers, and be equipped with the tools to successfully complete their STEM degrees.
