Volunteer Coordinator 

Description:

No More Under, a 501(c)3 is seeking a part-time Volunteer Coordinator.
The commitment will be on average 5 hours per week with fluctuations depending on events.

The Volunteer Coordinator will work with the Program Director to help No More Under recruit, manage and coordinate volunteers for community events. In addition, the Volunteer Coordinator may be involved as a supporting, pool-side staff member during some swimming programs( to help check people in,etc.)No More Under is seeking someone who is passionate about water safety and supporting the community. We are looking for a team member who is self-driven and innovative.

Essential Duties of Volunteer Coordinator:

  •  Provide primary leadership at community events which may occasionally fall on weekends
  •  Recruit volunteers through channels including but not limited to social media, facebook groups, University pages, and emails to appropriate organizations 
  •  Coordinate and manage volunteer attendance for community events
  •  Work with the Program Director to onboard and train new volunteers
  •  Collaborate with the Program Director in developing and maintaining a comprehensive list of community engagement opportunities
  •  Generally be in the Greater Seattle area throughout the summer months (this is our busiest season in terms of community events)
  •  Occasionally attend swimming programs to support participating families with check-in, handing out informational materials, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 18 years old
  • Has a drivers license
  • Has a High School Diploma or GED
