Program Learning Outcomes detail the knowledge, skills and abilities that you as a student will demonstrate upon successful completion of your program.

Parent Education

     1. Gain knowledge of child development and developing skills to facilitate healthy development in young children.

     2. Develop a personal theoretical framework and practicing strategies to provide positive guidance and discipline for young children in the home and in diverse group situations.

     3. Develop an understanding of the parenting role within one’s culture and societal frame of reference, and implementing strategies that promote healthy self-confidence, as well as family and community relationships.
