Associate of Applied Science - Transfer Degree (AAS-T)

Business Technology Management is an interdisciplinary program that combines business, applied IT, management, and communication skills to manage and automate information flows within and across organizations. Emphasizing project-based learning, program foundations include business cloud computing, data analytics, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, customer relationship management & supervision.

The AAS-T option allows students a pathway to receiving a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree from several disciplines including accounting, business, international business, property management, application development and others.

The course focuses on the usefulness and limitations of statistics and their use in managerial decision making. The following techniques are addressed: descriptive statistics, probability theory, sampling, hypothesis testing, simple regression, correlation and forecasting. Emphasis is placed on problem formulation, technique selection, and results interpretation. Prerequisites: Math 098 or Math 116. Transfer Class.

Covers the concepts of production, consumption and distribution with emphasis on price determination, production costs and market structures. Application of economic reasoning to public issues and business.

English 101 is a college-level writing course that emphasizes academic writing and major strategies of reading and writing analytically. Writing assignments focus on engaging with and responding to a variety of texts.
