Admission Requirements
Degree Required for Admissions
A.A.S. or A.A.S.-T degrees in Information Technology-related fields offer the best preparation for the AD B.A.S. degree. However, any two-year degree, earned with a 2.5 or better GPA (including all IT-related courses) is sufficient.
If you have completed most but not all of the prerequisites, you can still explore starting the program in fall 2019. Consideration will be given to applicants who have all prerequisites completed. However, for those who do not, you may be able to complete the remaining prerequisites during the first quarter of the program. Contact Michelle Melero in the AD B.A.S. office to see if you qualify to apply.
Find the online application here.
Admission is competitive, and the college expects the number of qualified applicants to exceed the number of available enrollment spaces, so we suggest you apply for our evening program as soon as applications become available.
International Students
International students should contact the International Programs Office prior to applying for the Application B.A.S. degree. You may contact International Program Office at (206) 934-3672 or visit their Web site for more information.
Washington State Employee Tuition Waiver
Beginning in Fall Quarter 2015, the Application Development B.A.S. degree allows qualifying Washington state employees to use the State Employee Tuition Waiver in the AD B.A.S. program. Students wishing to use the State Employee Tuition Waiver must still apply to the program and meet all the prerequisite requirements.
