CARE Goals

  • Proactive Support: Respond to early signs of student distress or disruptive behavior through proactive intervention.
  • Trauma-Informed Care: Support student well-being by emphasizing trauma-informed practices in communication and interventions.
  • Resource Awareness: Increase campus awareness of available resources and encourage help-seeking behaviors to reduce the stigma around mental health.
  • Campus Safety: Enhance safety for the campus community by identifying trends and implementing strategies to reduce self-harm and violence.
  • Consultation & Training: Serve as a needed resource for employees, providing consultation and guidance on how to support students in need.
