Job Description

Property managers manage office buildings, apartments, and retail and industrial properties. They negotiate sale or lease of property, collect rent and pay insurance and taxes. They investigate complaints from tenants, resolve problems, and act as liaison between tenants and landlords. Property managers inspect buildings, grounds and equipment, gather and analyze bids, and schedule repairs. They may also be responsible for purchasing supplies, equipment and furniture and negotiating contracts for maintenance services.
