What is the most valuable thing that you have learned from your education that you would share with students? The most valuable thing I learned as a student is that your professor is on your team. Make it a point to get to know them, attend their office hours, ask them for help and guidance. They are humans too and having a working relationship with them is vital to your success as a college student.
What is your favorite hobby? I am new to Seattle and Washington, so I enjoy exploring Seattle’s culture. I am a big fan of musicals, plays, any concert and all things Seattle Mariners! I also enjoy hiking and exploring all the amazing nature that the PNW has to offer.
What is one interesting fact about you? I was born and raised in deep south Texas and moved to Seattle two years ago. The culture and lifestyle of the Pacific Northwest is a world apart from what I’m used to, and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
