Greeter, Opportunity Center

Description:

The Opportunity Center is a unique multi-service center on campus providing education. employment and social services for students and the community at-large. This is a public-facing, customer service role in a dynamic environment.

  • Serve as welcoming contact for customers coming to the OC.

  • Ensure completion of entry health screening as required by campus protocols.

  • Help customers in getting to right agency / resources at the OC to meet their needs.

  • Provide directions to other campus services for students and visitors.

  • Provide basic information about community resources.

  • Maintain supplies and information at the greeting station.

Students in this role will receive orientation to this role and the services available at the OC. They will be supported by 2 staff members of the OC team.

Coverage needed 8:30 am to 5 pm M-F; work schedule based on student situation

  • Good grasp of computer-based technology

  • Fluent in spoken English
