Accounts Payable

Description:

This an in person work-study position that will assis the accounts payable team with day-to-day office tasks. We would like to hire someone who can come into the office 2-3 days a week. There will be some flexibility in how the work schedule is created. We will work together to meet your needs for flexibility with keeping in mind the needs of the department and expectations of the role.

This role will primarily include the tasks listed below.

  • Managing incoming department email account
  • Saving out PDF invoices in appropriate department folders, using specific file naming conventions
  • Sorting and opening incoming mail
  • Scanning and saving invoices and other important documentation
  • Filing documents in the accounts payable archive as needed
  • Researching archived documents as needed

Educational Benefit:

  • This position will help you become proficient with using Microsoft Outlook, copiers, scanners, digital and physical record keeping, using a computer for research and basic excel. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook and Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable handling and prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Willingness to learn new processes
