Description
The Budget Taskforce was established to ensure that North Seattle College (NSC) maintains the institution's commitment to financial stability by:
- Living Within our Means
- Prudent Level of Reserves
- Investing in the Future
The Budget Taskforce will provide recommendations to budget-related topics in a strategic, transparent, participatory, and equitable manner.
Specifically, the taskforce will:
- Review Budget Guiding principles, Budget Rubric, Budget Priorities that will guide
budgetary decisions. - Make recommendations to programs or projects that would be funded by Invest in
the Future AFS funds.
Membership & Meeting Schedule
Membership of the Taskforce shall consist of representatives from the following areas, Faculty, Classified Staff, AFT Pro Staff, and Exempt Non-represented team members.
The Taskforce will meet every Wednesday at 10:00am with the first meeting being held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026
