Events Team Assistant
Description:
Working with the NSC Events Coordinator:
- Provide support for on-campus conferences, seminars, workshops, and other types of events.
- Set up and tear down events. Arrange tables, chairs, staging, podiums, as needed
- Work closely with internal departments to oversee and coordinate events on campus
- Assist with other tasks as needed
- Varied & flexible schedule

- This position is flexible and may allow work study students to complete coursework and assignments during downtime.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and relationship building skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while being attentive to detail.
- Basic computer skills: Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to perform range of physical motions, exerting up to 40 pounds; lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds; standing, sitting for long periods of time, kneeling, squatting, and stooping; and traversing up and down stairs.
