Events Team Assistant

Description:

Working with the NSC Events Coordinator:

  • Provide support for on-campus conferences, seminars, workshops, and other types of events.
  • Set up and tear down events. Arrange tables, chairs, staging, podiums, as needed
  • Work closely with internal departments to oversee and coordinate events on campus
  • Assist with other tasks as needed
  • Varied & flexible schedule

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and relationship building skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while being attentive to detail. 
  • Basic computer skills: Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. 
  • Ability to perform range of physical motions, exerting up to 40 pounds; lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds; standing, sitting for long periods of time, kneeling, squatting, and stooping; and traversing up and down stairs.
