Julius Lloyd
Acting Director of EDIC
Julius Lloyd is a first-generation college student and a graduate with a master's degree in social work. Originally from the greater Seattle area, he attended West Hills Junior College in California before transferring to Montana State University. Julius earned his bachelor's degree in political science while playing football for the Montana State Bobcats. He began working with South Seattle College in 2016 as a financial literacy program assistant with Retention & Completion Services through United Way of King County. He earned a master's degree from the University of Washington’s School of Social Work in 2022 where he specialized in Multigenerational Practice.
Julius also currently serves as director of Project Baldwin where he provides support, funding, and mentorship for underrepresented men of color attending Seattle Colleges. He is dedicated to his work as director of Project Baldwin and supporting Seattle College’s equity, diversity, inclusion, and community efforts to create a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic, cultural, and personal growth for marginalized students.
