Seattle Colleges 2019 Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for June 14, 2019
Students from across the Seattle Colleges District will join for a combined graduation ceremony on June 14, 2019 at T-Mobile Park (formerly known as Safeco Field).
- • 3 p.m. Graduate entrance opens (Security inspections performed.)
- • 3:30 p.m. Visitor entrance opens (Security inspections performed.)
- • 5 p.m. Commencement processional begins
- • 5:30 p.m. Ceremony begins
- • 7:45 p.m. Tassel turn
- • 8 p.m. Ceremony concludes
The combined graduation ceremony brings together graduates from all four colleges—North Seattle College, Seattle Central College, South Seattle College and Seattle Vocational Institute. The event space will enable more people to attend and provide convenient parking and public transportation options, and technology and space to support graduates, faculty/staff and guests that have audio, visual and mobility needs.
Students, their families and friends, and Seattle College employees and community members are all encouraged to attend.
Frequently Asked Questions—What to Do before Commencement Day
You may participate in the commencement ceremony if you have completed your program requirements for a degree, certificate or diploma during:
- • Summer Quarter 2018
- • Fall Quarter 2018
- • Winter Quarter 2019
- • Spring Quarter 2019
Complete a graduation application. Check the procedures are your specific campus:
Once you’ve registered for your final courses you must complete a graduation application even if you do not plan to participate in the commencement ceremony.
Graduates can pick up caps and gowns at their campus bookstore.
If eligible, pick up regalia of distinction.

Family members (other than your spouse and children) wishing to visit the United States must apply for a B-2 "tourist" visa at the US embassy or consulate in their home countries. Please download this checklist or visit the Registration office for an invitation letter.
You may invite as many guests as you would like. Invitations or tickets are not required for entry to T-Mobile Park. Download a digital invitation to send friends and family.
