Depending on your circumstances and income, you may qualify for Apple Health, Washington’s Medicaid health insurance program. If not, there may be other options for you for insurance coverage that will work for you. There are several ways to get health insurance help.

King County Community Health Access Program (CHAP)

Navigators will assist you in determining your eligibility for and enrolling in a health insurance plan.  CHAP is primarily for King County residents.

Washington Healthplanfinder

Statewide service providing information about health insurance options.  Explore Washington Healthplanfinder on your own or call for assistance. This includes information about Cascade Care Savings plans for lower cost health insurance if you are not eligible for Apple Health 

SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors)

A service to answer questions about Medicare plans (for older adults and those who may be eligible because of disability) .  Trained SHIBA volunteers can assist with enrollment

King County Community Health Access Program (CHAP)

Navigators will assist you in finding health screening services, medical and dental clinics with sliding fees, pregnancy tests and prenatal care, and other health services

Meridian Center for Health

Clinic close to NSC that offers primary medical care, behavioral health services, WIC/neonatal and infant/child healthcare, dental care, and pharmacy. Low cost, with sliding scale options.  Partners at this clinic are Neighborcare Health, Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care, and King County Public Health.
