Sarah Baker
Program Manager, Wayfind
Sarah Baker (she/her/hers) started at North Seattle College as a Running Start student in 2005. After receiving her Associate of Arts degree, she continued at North and finished her Bachelor of Applied Science in International Business in 2016.
A native Seattleite, she served as a young volunteer for organizations like Team Survivor Northwest and Jet City Improv. Her passion for social justice, civil rights, and community building have led her to continue pursuing a career in equity and advocacy. Sarah is a firm believer in supporting grassroots organizations, communities of color, and historically marginalized peoples.
Sarah currently works as a Program Manager for Wayfind Legal, a local C3 organization that partners with law firms around Washington State to provide pro-bono business-transactional legal services to nonprofits and small businesses. She sits on the Board of Directors as President for the Seattle Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League, the United States’ oldest and largest Asian American civil rights organization, as well as on the National Board as the Vice President for Public Affairs. She also continues to work on Sundays at the historic Pike Place Market, where she has been for the past 15 years. In her “spare time” she enjoys engaging in various styles of dance, going to the gym, and playing with her canine best friend Mochi.
