Watch Technology Lab Assistant
Description:
Support Watch Technology classrooms by maintaining equipment, conducting inventory, ensuring a clean/secure workplace, and participating in other faculty-assigned tasks. The Lab Assistant will also provide after-hours monitoring of the classroom space for other students.
Educational Benefit:
- This position provides the student with relevant work experience, developing skills they will utilize in a retail or service center watchmaking position.
- It will increase the student’s knowledge of workshop practices such as watch material sourcing, inventory tracking, maintaining cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a student that has been accepted into the Watch Technology program & currently enrolled as a 1st year or 2nd year student.
- Must be detail-oriented & organized
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must be able to work independently & with others
