Overview
We are hiring college presidents for North Seattle College, Seattle Central College, and South Seattle College.
- Seattle Colleges will conduct three simultaneous presidential searches.
- There will be three search committees—one each at North, Central, and South.
- Candidates will need to apply, separately, for each position that interests them.
- A districtwide Logistics Work Team will support and coordinate logistics and planning.
- Additional support will come from inclusion advocates, Human Resources, and other support staff.
- Our goal is to have our college presidents in place at North, Central, and South by July 1, 2024.

Inclusion Advocates
Seattle Colleges’ Inclusion Advocate Program is designed to create a standardized, anti-biased search process to build a rich and diverse workforce that reflects the diversity of our students and community. Trained inclusion advocates work in conjunction with the search committee, hiring manager, and Human Resources in all levels of the hiring process as non-voting members to guide search committee members in recognizing and avoiding unconscious bias.
Seattle Colleges' Inclusion Advocate Program was developed with permission from and modeled after Oregon State University’s Search Advocate program.
