What is the most valuable thing that you have learned from your education that you would share with students? Probably the most valuable thing that I learned from my education is that your education is in your hands. There are so many resources, people, and experiences that are available to learn from. Ask for help to learn what's available and tap into those things and you will get the most out of your education.
What is your favorite hobby? Kayaking! I feel alive when I am on the water on a beautiful day exploring and seeing wildlife in my kayak.
What is one interesting fact about you? I'm a science fiction geek. Science fiction is what made me interested in reading as child and my interest has continued since then.
Education: B.S. Psychology, Michigan State University; MDiv. Gateway Seminary
I graduated from Michigan State University as a psychology major. I was always fascinated with helping people reach their full potential. I have worked in non-profits, churches, education, and in the corporate world helping individuals and teams gain clarity in their goals and reach beyond what they think they are capable of.
