Events and Rental Parking

Welcome to Event and Rental Parking at North Seattle College. We support campus events and facility rentals by offering accessible and convenient parking solutions for event organizers, guests, and renters. Our goal is to help make every event a success by providing clear parking information and a seamless payment or validation process.

Event organizers may purchase parking permits for their attendees, guests, and participants at a discounted rate. In addition, discounted self-pay options may be available for event attendees if parking is not included. Organizers are encouraged to work with their North Seattle College Event Coordinator in advance to discuss parking needs and arrange available prepaid, discounted, or customized parking solutions to support a smooth and welcoming event experience.

All campus parking is paid parking. North Seattle College uses a virtual parking permit system and License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology to manage parking on campus.

Parking for Event Attendees

All event attendees are required to purchase a parking permit or validate their parking session upon arrival. No physical permit is required or issued; your vehicle's license plate serves as your permit.

Before You Arrive

Please plan for parking:

  • Event facilitators and organizers are responsible for sharing parking information and expectations. Please reach out to your event organizer for parking instructions.
  • Event attendees must purchase parking or validate their parking session if validation is provided by the event organizer. Validations and payments can be made at any campus pay station.
  • Pay stations accept Visa or Mastercard only. No other payment option is available.
  • Permits are linked to the vehicle license plate. Please ensure your license plate information is entered correctly, or you may be cited.
  • Overnight parking is not allowed.
  • Citations for no permit or failure to validate parking session are $30.

Event Parking Areas on Campus

Event and Rental group attendees may park in the exterior parking lots around the perimeter of campus and must complete the virtual parking process upon arrival. Please follow specific instructions if provided.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available in all parking lots around the perimeter of campus. Parkers with a valid state-issued disability permit may park in any disability parking space. Disability parking permits provide access to disability parking spaces, not free parking. Payment or validation is still required.

How Virtual Parking Works

  1. Park in a designated parking area.
  2. Visit a campus pay station or scan a Mobile Pay QR Code.
  3. Enter your vehicle license plate number.
  4. Select the correct rate associated with your event and enter a coupon code if one is provided.
  5. Purchase parking or validate your parking session. Pay stations will accept Visa or Mastercard only.
  6. Print receipt for records. Display is not required.

North Seattle College uses License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology to verify parking compliance throughout campus.
