Earth & Space Sciences 

Students who successfully complete a course in Earth and Space Sciences at North Seattle Community College will be able to:

  1. Describe plate tectonics theory, its mechanisms and its central role in shaping a planet.

  2. Use mathematics to perform calculations on earth and/or space science problems.

  3. Make observations regarding the Earth or space and infer conclusions from them
