Office Assistant - Workforce Instruction Division

Description:

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office 2010 applications.
  • Typing, e- filing.
  • Various projects.
  • Assist faculty as needed.

Educational Benefit:

Student will learn how to work in a fast paced and sometimes hectic work environment. In the educational setting, learning how to work in this type of environment allows the students to “make mistakes”: and learn from their errors in preparation for a job outside the educational system. Working in an instructional division gives students a well-rounded experience including the opportunity to learn “soft skills” highly desired by employers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel experience required.
  • Must work well as a team member and work well with other people.
  • Customer Service skills highly desired.
