Gain Real Business Experience Before You Graduate
Want to build your resume and help a local small business succeed?
The North Seattle College Accelerator is now accepting student applications. This program lets you take what you are learning in class and apply it directly to the local community.
You will work in a small team with a faculty mentor to support a local business owner. Together, your team will look at the everyday challenges they face, find new opportunities for them to grow, and suggest practical steps they can take.
Job Skills You Will Build
Local business owners and employers value hands-on experience. Through this program, you will practice:
- Problem Solving. Look at actual business needs and find realistic ways to help.
- Teamwork. Collaborate with classmates to manage a project from start to finish.
- Communication. Practice sharing your ideas clearly in professional conversations and short presentations.
- Business Basics. Learn how a small business operates behind the scenes.
