1. Start sooner

2. Study smarter

3. Get the job you want

With I-BEST, You Can Train in Specific Job Skills & Get College-Ready in Reading, Writing, Math, or English Language – at the Same Time.

The I-BEST Format:
I-BEST (Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training) programs offer a team-teaching approach, so students get twice the support! With I-BEST, you will work with 2 teachers in the classroom. One teacher will provide specific job training (for college credit), while the other teacher will help you get college-ready in reading, writing, math, or English language. In some cases, you can get high school and college credits at the same time.

When 2 teachers team-teach together, you learn better and faster.

In all I-BEST programs, you get up to 3 additional hours of classroom support each week. This gives you more time with your teacher to learn and practice what you find most challenging. You can also prepare for immediate employment after finishing the I-BEST program.

Since I-BEST programs are job-training programs, students can often get financial aid from Workforce Education to help cover the costs of college tuition.

Currently we offer six I-BEST programs:
