Entrepreneurship

Learn the Steps to Entrepreneurial Success

If you have a passion for a business venture but aren’t sure how to go about implementing it, North's Entrepreneurship certificate program — the only one of its kind at a Seattle community college — will guide you step-by-step through solid business planning.

The program can be completed in 3 quarters and has no prerequisites.

Questions Answered in the Program

  • What product or service do you want to offer?
  • What financial structure is best for you?
  • Is there a market for what you love to do?
  • What more do you need to know to make your venture a success?

By the time you complete the program, you’ll have a business plan and be ready to seek financing and start your business.

Valuable Connections

The entrepreneurship program is developing connections with the Small Business Administration and, through them, will establish connections with the Small Business Development Council (SBDC) and SCORE (the Small Business Council of Retired Entrepreneurs) so that you will be able to get coaching on your new business ideas right on campus.
