Several CPA graduates work as advisors or instructors with the North accounting programs. An increasing number have completed their academic component, review course and exam and have landed jobs as CPAs.
While studying to meet the requirements to sit for the CPA exam, you can earn a Certificate of Accountancy, which could qualify you for Worker Retraining support.
This certificate is designed for college graduates who are working toward meeting the educational requirements of the Washington state CPA examination. Additional courses are necessary to fulfill the requirements to sit for the exam.
The courses in this certificate are not considered to be an official statement of acceptability by the Washington State Board of Accountancy. Students should consult the State Board's website for further information. In addition, North faculty strongly recommend that all CPA applicants complete a CPA review course to adequately prepare for the CPA examination. See discovercpa.org for CPA exam review providers.
