Application Development
Summer Bridge Program for Application Development
This summer, North Seattle College is offering a special Summer Bridge program for students interested in software development and application development. The program is specifically designed for those looking to advance their education and pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Application Development (AD).
The program is ideal for students who have completed 70 or more college credits, including English 101 and QSR Math, and only need the prerequisite courses to apply for the AD BAS program starting in Fall 2025.
Participants will take three key prerequisite courses/clusters, which include:
- IT 102 – Introduction to Programming
- IT 125 – Using Structured Query Language and SQL Server
- IT 161 – Web Authoring (clustered with IT 115 – Intro to Software Development & Version Control)
Completing these three courses over the summer will help students be fully prepared to apply for North Seattle College’s AD BAS program, which will feature a brand-new curriculum this fall. Students can apply while enrolled in the Summer Bridge program and will be admitted upon successful completion of all three courses.
