North Seattle College offers in-person services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 am to 2 pm. We are still available to answer your questions by phone or email. Please reach out if you have questions or need assistance, and check departments' websites for additional information about online support.

Academic Advising

Academic Advisors are providing one-on-one advising to students remotely via Zoom, phone, and email. Steps for scheduling appointments and finding the Zoom drop-in advising schedule is available on the scheduling page. Students can email their assigned advisor directly or send general questions through the contact form. New students can click here to get started with our comprehensive online orientation.

Admissions, Registration, Records, and Credentials (ARRC)

ARRC staff will be assisting students remotely via email, Zoom, and phone. Students can contact each department with any questions and requests through webpages and emails listed below. Please provide your full name, ctcLink ID, and details regarding your inquiry.

Bookstore

The North Seattle College bookstore is currently closed until further notice. Orders for course materials and merchandise are accepted online.

Career Services

Career services is available via email or zoom meetings to assist with resumes, cover letters, interviewing and general job search assistance.

Cashier's Office

Counseling

No counselors are available during quarter breaks and summer quarter. For life-threatening situations, call 911. You can reach the Seattle/King County Community Crisis Clinic 24-hour community crisis line at (206) 461-3222 or crisisclinic.org.

Disability Services

eLearning

During campus closure the eLearning Team are working remotely and are available virtually from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Please see our website for full information on how to contact us and for a list of learning tools.

Emergency Assistance for Students

Financial Aid

Financial Aid staff are currently assisting students remotely via phone, email, and zoom/online appointments. Current/returning students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with thier assigned Financial Aid Advisor via Starfish. New students can contact financial aid staff by phone Monday to Thursday between 9am and 3pm at 206-934-3688 or by email at nsccfinancialaid@seattlecolleges.edu. Students applying for financial aid can submit additional information by sending documentation through the NSC Student Financial Aid Portal, fax 206-934-3608 or email.

International Programs

Library Virtual Services

The Library at North Seattle College supports your research and instruction needs even when the campus is closed. We offer a variety of online tools and services ranging from digital materials to information literacy instruction to individual research support. See what is available here.

Running Start

Running Start staff are available to assist you remotely! We’re happy to meet with students by phone or Zoom; appointments can be scheduled by emailing nsccrstart@seattlecolleges.edu. We are still accepting new student applications for fall quarter 2020. New student orientations are scheduled for Tues. Sept. 8 and Wed. Sept. 9. Student Media Center

Student Media Center (SMC) offers limited media equipment lending services and virtual media production assistance including presentations, recording, and media software access/use. Student Leadership and Multicultural Programs

The Student Leadership Board Supervisors are assisting student remotely through email and can make appointments via Zoom. Testing Center

Testing Center are assisting students via email at nsctesting@seattlecolleges.edu. There will be no in-person testing through March 27th, pending public health directives. Disability Services registered students, please contact your instructor to coordinate accommodations.

Tutoring

The Student Learning Center is offering Zoom tutoring, online essay tutoring, and E-Tutoring. Please see the the Student Learning Center tutoring website for more information.
