North Seattle College has limited on-site services until further notice, but we are still available to answer your questions by phone or email. Please reach out if you have questions or need assistance, and check departments' websites for additional information about online support.

Academic Advising

Academic Advisors are assisting students remotely via Zoom and email. Appointments can be scheduled online via Starfish. Students can email their advisor directly by sending general questions to advisornorth@seattlecolleges.edu or via https://northseattle.edu/advising/contact.

Admissions, Registration, Records, and Credentials (ARRC)

ARRC staff will be assisting students remotely via email. Students can contact ARRC@seattlecolleges.edu with any questions and requests. Please be prepared to provide your name, SID number, and scanned Photo ID when contacting ARRC. To speak with the Registrar contact Jayne Strom-Strebe at (206) 934-3670 or jayne.strom-strebe@seattlecolleges.edu. Effective April 7, in-person appointments can be arranged, but in-person appointments are limited to students who do not have phones or email.

Bookstore

The North Seattle College bookstore is currently closed until further notice. More information about returning Winter Quarter books and order fulfillment for spring is online.

Career Services

Career services is available via email or zoom meetings to assist with resumes, cover letters, interviewing and general job search assistance.

Childcare Center

Counseling

Counseling faculty are available for consultation and assistance via email. When sending emails, please write to both counselors Jenny Mao jenny.mao@seattlecolleges.edu and Lydia Minatoya Lydia.minatoya@seattlecolleges.edu. Effective April 27, faculty counselors will begin making appointments, pending public health directives.

Disability Services

Disability Services will be assisting students by appointments via Zoom. For questions or to schedule an online appointment, email DS@seattlecolleges.edu or the DS Director Josef Mogharreban at Josef.Mogharreban@seattlecolleges.edu.

eLearning

During campus closure the eLearning Team are working remotely and are available virtually from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Please see our website for full information on how to contact us and for a list of learning tools.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid staff are assisting students remotely via zoom and email.  Students can contact Financial Aid at nsccfinancialaid@seattlecolleges.edu  or schedule an appointment via Starfish. Students applying for financial aid can continue to complete their application by sending documentation through the NSC Student Financial Aid Portal or email.  We will have access to all systems to assist students. Effective April 7, in-person appointments can be arranged, but in-person appointments are limited to students who do not have phones or email.

International Programs

International Programs staff are available for email, phone, and video appointments. Contact IntlNorth@seattlecolleges.edu or 206-934-367 to connect with us. Library Virtual Services

The Library at North Seattle College supports your research and instruction needs even when the campus is closed. We offer a variety of online tools and services ranging from digital materials to information literacy instruction to individual research support. See what is available here.

Running Start

Running Start staff will be available for appointments via phone and Zoom. For questions, students can contact nsccrstart@seattlecolleges.edu or the Running Start Manager, Christina Sheehan at christina.sheehan@seattlecolleges.edu or (206) 934-7768.

Student Media Center

The SMC team offers remote media production assistance for students, during regular service hours.  Our alternative remote services are by email, phone, Zoom meeting, or Canvas.  Call 206-934-0070 and leave a message including your contact information or email NSCMediaCenter@seattlecolleges.edu. For full information see our website.

Seattle Promise Outreach Specialists are available by email to answer questions. Please see the Seattle Promise website for their contact information.

Student Leadership and Multicultural Programs

The Student Leadership Board Supervisors are assisting student remotely through email and can make appointments via Zoom. Testing Center

Testing Center are assisting students via email at nsctesting@seattlecolleges.edu. There will be no in-person testing through March 27th, pending public health directives. Disability Services registered students, please contact your instructor to coordinate accommodations.

Tutoring

The Student Learning Center is offering Zoom tutoring, online essay tutoring, and E-Tutoring. Please see the the Student Learning Center tutoring website for more information.

Veterans Services

Veterans and Military Services staff are assisting students via email and by telephone.  Students can reach us at nsccveterans@seattlecolleges.edu or at (206) 934-7309.

Wellness Center (Roy Flores Wellness Center)

Workforce Education

Workforce Education staff are available to answer questions via email at nworkforce@seattlecolleges.edu or at (206) 934-3787. Please note, worker retraining eligibility has expanded due to COVID-19 related changes in unemployment insurance eligibility.
